KING sharpening stones are designed for sharpening tools from carving chisels, planes to kitchen knives using water. Grit #300 for basic sharpening of workshop knives, chisels, axes, and other tools. This coarseness perfectly aligns teeth on the blade and other defects caused by using the tool.
It is a type of absorbent sharpener with a coarse synthetic grain, which needs to be placed in a water bath for 10 minutes before use. Before using, it is enough to sprinkle with water to achieve a smooth surface during sharpening.

Which grit to choose?
For sharpening really dull or uneven blades, use stones with a low JIS number (Japanese classification for grit size). The lower the number, the greater the coarseness of the stone. Stones with a high JIS number are intended for final and fine sharpening or smoothing.
